It is a tribute to your patience and goodness with them. If you showed any nervousness they would pick up on it and be wild toward each other. Both fish are very conscious of human emotion.

Gourami are very nice fish, I had two blue females before I knew what I was doing with fish. Unfortunately, they died, and now I am shy of getting them because I think they didn't like my water...

I got a blue male with that yellow female but he died after a couple of week. I have tried to breed blur with yellow before and the male always builds his bubble nest but it never went further than that.
